PRAYER FOR ZIMBABWE:
Christians in Zimbabwe and friends throughout the world are united in praying for a country that has experienced so much social turmoil in the past decade. The Irish Franciscans join their friars in Zimbabwe and all people of goodwill in praying and working for the good of that beautiful country.

FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT:
The friars in Killarney took part in the From Darkness to Light Walk held on 12 May. Beginning at 3 am, the walk raises funds for suicide and self-harm prevention service, Pieta House, and is held in memory of 14-year-old Nathan O'Carroll.

Franciscans International is a non-governmental organisation that voices concerns at the United Nations, with and on behalf of the most vulnerable, about justice, poverty and the planet. PRAYER TO ST PASCHAL BAYLON:
St Paschal was a humble Spanish friar who died in 1592; he had such a great love for Christ in the Eucharist that he was named Patron of all Eucharistic Congresses and Societies. We pray to him for God's blessing on the International Eucharistic Congress to be held in Dublin in June
