Laudato Si – Songs to Celebrate Creation

LAUDATO SI’: the new song by Friar Gianni OFM celebrates the gift of creation.

Laudato si’ (Praise Be To You) is a song written by Br. Gianni Mastromarino, inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical published in June 2015.

Drawing from the Pope’s text, this song, in both music and words, speaks of the beauty of creation and the problems that endanger this God-given gift – problems caused by human selfishness and violence.

The song calls all to have hope for a renewal of life and joy as we live as fellows creatures of such a good God and Creator.

Praise Be To You is available on YouTube both in Italian (Laudato si’) and in Spanish (Alabado Seas).

The English version will be published on 12 July.
