New Novices in Zimbabwe

On the feast of St Anthony, 13 June, at the St Anthony of Padua Mission, Gandachibvuva, in Zimbabwe, 12 young men received the Franciscan habit and began their novitiate year.

Six are from Zimbabwe and are members of the Custody of the Good Shepherd, six are from South African Province of Our Lady Queen of Peace.

Also in June ten new Postulants for the Custody were received at Assisi Mission, Nharira, where they will spend 18 months before becoming novices.

We keep our young brothers in our prayers as they discern their vocation to the Franciscan life.
