On Saturday 31 August friars Vincent Finnigan and David Connolly celebrated their First Profession after completing their novitiate year in Ennis friary. Friars, family and local people gathered to celebrate as they marked an important step on their Franciscan journey.

Vincent has been assigned to Merchants’ Quay friary, Dublin, and will begin a two year course in philosophy in Maynooth. David goes to the Franciscan Study Centre in Canterbury, England, for a year of Franciscan studies.

We pray our brothers will continue to be guided and supported by the Spirit of the Lord.
