Our dear brother, Fr Diarmaid Ó Riain OFM has gone home to God. He was 93 years old.
Born in Galbally, Co. Limerick, he joined the Franciscan Order in 1950, and made his First Profession in 1951. He was ordained a priest in Rome in 1958.
He served with generosity and gentle devotion in many of our Irish friaries.
For decades he was associated with the Intercession for Priests that took place each August in All Hallows Dublin.
May he delight forever in the Lord's love.
