Going on pilgrimage, in nature, is an ancient way of praying and getting in touch with ourselves and the Divine and had been practised by Irish Catholics down through the centuries. We wish for as many people as possible to experience this and so we bring groups on various pilgrimage routes throughout the year (usually every two months). It includes mass somewhere significant en route, eg a Mass Rock, Pilgrims Chapel etc. and some scriptural input.
Walking side by side someone is a wonderful opportunity to talk about faith and life with others and experiencing all these things together in these inspiring places can be truly profound.
