As part of the Franciscan Bible Sessions we organise 2-3 weekend retreats throughout the year, on standalone themes, in various retreat centres situated in beautiful locations throughout Ireland. Anyone can come to these retreats at any time and is most welcome.
They are special times where one can come away from the world and open themselves to hear what the Lord is saying to them in a deeper way. It is perfect for those who live busy Monday-Friday lives and are looking to find time in this busy schedule to deepen prayer or discern something particular in their lives. The friars are always on hand to chat and journey with.
It is an intense period of time; of silence, listening to talks from the friars on specific scriptural themes, in prayer, availing of the sacraments, night vigils, adoration, spiritual accompaniment and Christian fellowship.
